Brittney, is an Animal Reiki Practitioner, Animal Communicator, Nature Communicator and the founder of Vivacious Collective.
Growing up on a small country farm, animals and nature were always part of the rhythm of her life. She is from a family of farmers and entrepreneurs, where hard, honest work, creative problem-solving and finding joy in the simple things were deeply valued. That upbringing also gave her a profound respect for the relationship between people, animals and the land. She believes there is something sacred in honoring the Earth and the beings we share it with and in approaching animals with the same love, consideration, and respect we hope to receive ourselves.
Animals have always felt like teachers, companions, and guides in her life, but it was her soul dog, Fender, who ultimately led her into energy work. Years ago, during an Animal Communication session, Fender shared through another communicator that he wanted her to learn Reiki so she could support him as he aged. She knew little about Reiki at the time, but she would have done just about anything for Fender, so she followed his lead. That decision opened an entirely new path for her.
As she began practicing Reiki with Fender and other animals, she became fascinated by the subtle ways animals communicate through energy, behavior, emotion and presence. That curiosity eventually led her deeper into Animal Communication and interspecies connection, and ultimately to creating Vivacious Collective.
Today, much of her work centers around animals. Through Animal Reiki, she offer a gentle, non-invasive space where animals can relax, receive and engage with the energy in whatever way feels comfortable to them. Every animal is different so she allows them to lead the session at their own pace. Animals can also be incredibly sensitive to their surroundings, which is why she pays attention to the relationship between the animal, their people, their home and the land around them.
Through Animal Communication, she sees herself as a bridge between humans and the Animal Kingdom. Her role is to listen, translate and help create space for animals to share what they may be feeling, experiencing, needing or wanting their people to understand. She believes we have so much to learn from animals. They can be the best healers, protectors, teachers, companions, mirrors and guides, each carrying their own personality, wisdom and unique way of moving through the world.
Sometimes simply slowing down enough to listen can deepen the relationship between an animal and their person in ways we never expected.
